“Last week, I had to make the hardest decision of my life to put down my best bud Walter (cat). I called Lewis & Clark on a Wednesday at about noon. I could barely get the words out to the receptionist.... she was very empathetic and understanding. Guided me through the process and got us scheduled the next morning at 9am with Dr. Kelly.

When we arrived the next morning, we showed up at about 9:05am.... Every last minute with my little man was worth it.... Right when we got in the door, we were immediately greeted by a very nice lady asking if this was Walter. She brought us right back to a very nice private room. Walked us through everything that was going to happen... I know that has to be one of the toughest times to ask someone for payment as well... She did such a nice job. We were able to pay right in the room as well.

My wife and I were a mess through this whole process. They calmly walked us through everything. I didn't catch the assistant's name, but she was amazing as well. Dr. Kelly did such a wonderful job explaining what would happen. This was one of the worst days of my life.....I somehow left happy (through the tears) of how good Lewis and Clark made my Walter's final moments. They also have a private exit for us when everything was done. This was so nice as we didn't have to walk through the waiting room in tears.

I can't imagine how tough it is to run a vet clinic in this day and age... I can say that we felt so valued as customers and more important, my amazing Walter got to go out with his dignity.

THANK YOU to the staff at Lewis & Clark for making one of the worst days of my life a little better. Thank you to Dr. Kelly for being such a professional. That kindness goes a long way.

***Update - I stopped in last Friday to get Walter's ashes. BIG shoutout to Brandon. He not only asked how we were doing with Walter's passing, but even asked about my mom's cat as well. What a great staff. So happy with our decision to go to Lewis & Clark!”
