“We engaged accounting services with Lawhorn and company in 1999. The owner retired a few years ago and sold the business to Thompson, Price, Scott and Adams. Although the quality of what they provide is the same, very good. I do not think that their target market is smaller churches. We have been forced to use them to process our payroll and we only have 1 full time employee and 2 part time. This is definitely something we do not want nor need this product. We have been required to provide the same documents that we provided years ago in order to implement this serve. For a small church with pastors in their 60s there has been no patience or assistance offered to fulfill this forced service. I repeat, I believe this company is better for larger churches with large payroll but not for small churches. When I called to express my concerns, I was brushed off.”
