The Barn on New River

We could not have been more happy with having our wedding at The Barn on New River. From the minute we first visited the property in 2021, we were in awe with how beautiful it was and enamored with how welcome Paula made us feel. The pictures of the barn and the grounds are stunning but they do not do it justice. It is absolutely breathtaking in person. Paula and Caroline made everything so easy for us. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, and ensured that our wedding went perfectly. They made planning a wedding over the course of two years from hundreds of miles away extremely easy for us. This is the most beautiful venue you could ever imagine for a wedding. Wedding date was August 19,2023. All the flowers were blooming and weather was perfect. Paula and her husband were wonderful to work with and so accommodating. Caroline the wedding planner really knows her stuff. Wedding proceeded without a hitch. Could not have asked for a better day. Perfect wedding, perfect venue.

Arguably one of the best venues in the High Country! This venue was built so intentionally. I am amazed at the little details that were considered - the abundance of outlets, lights on dimmers, beautiful "getting ready" areas, the sweet couples' bench hidden behind a bush near the river, the gorgeous garden and hydrangeas all over! It's absolutely beautiful in every way! Bonus: the owner is INCREDIBLE. Paula will do whatever she can to ensure a stellar wedding day, including braving a thunder storm to get her couples up to the mountain top for a gorgeous photo moment. 10/10!!
