I went there for a haircut while I was staying at the Koa nearby. Very happy with the result. Teresa has a lot of experience and she quickly understood the cut I wanted. And on top of this, she is a very happy and smiling lady. Had a good time.

Sunset Salon is a great little salon in Rodanthe. Terese the stylist does a great job cutting both women's and men's hair. It's normally booked out, so call in advance.

I called and left a message asking for a guy's haircut, telling Tere that I was from out of town, I had never been to her salon. She texted quickly and fit me in to her schedule 3 hours later. I arrived early; lucky me. I sat and listened to great island stories and banter with the previous customer; the fun continued with me in the chair. As others have stated, Tere is a skilled professional, and she loves her job. Very personable, she had me laughing the minute I walked in. Great haircut...professional and entertaining, Tere made my day. Very nice and clean salon. 6 Stars out of 5!
