Amazing photographer. Every time we come to the OBX, we visit his studio. I'm not a pro, but his work seems to really capture authentic life in the OBX. We have a small collection of his work in our home, as my wife has a fondness for sandpipers. This year my brother was able to find a fantastic collage of waterspouts- perfect for my SIL's birthday present. Recommend this studio to anyone interested in local photography.

We visited Michael's studio and ended up staying there for over an hour - he's a great guy, welcoming, and knowledge. He's been in The Outer Banks since the 70s (the oldest gallery in the Banks) and has captured a lot of the finer points of the area. We're glad to have taken home a photo of his, to call one of the finer treasures of our visit.
