Lucky is how I feel for having Dr. Kelly and the Tar River Animal Hospital as the provider of our family's small animal care. We have had many companion animals over the last 30 years and they have all been cared for by Tar River Animal Hospital. The expertise and efficiency of this facility are absolutely top shelf. Every ailment and injury of our dogs and cats has been 100% correct in diagnosis, treatment, surgery, all of it... Perfect! It is a very busy practice yet the amount of intense focus each patient receives is readily apparent. We recently had to have one of our pets euthanized due to a progressed cancer. I prefer Dr Kelly and Tar River to other veterinarians in the area. They are a little more down to earth than others. They take good care of your animals and will listen to what you have to say.

My two dogs who get crazy at our former vet in Charlotte were so comfortable and calm. Everyone was welcoming and funny. They even clipped their nails! And my dogs let them!!! They won't let me.... Omg best experience at the vet ever!
