I enjoy vacation but im not real big on chain businesses, be it restaurants, department stores or whatever I try to seek out the mom and pop places, family businesses if you will.
Getting a haircut is no exception. I was in the OBX a while back and ran across Beckys barber shop. Becky has been doing her magic with scissors since 1969!
This Wanchese NC is a community staple, locals coming in and out constantly and the stories!! Becky and her husband Carl are car people as well! Beckys ride of choice is a 56 Chevrolet 2 door hardtop while Carl has a 55 2 door sedan! They have had their fair share of hot...read full review

Some time back my family had a place in Nags Head. I needed a haircut terribly before I left for there but no time to get one. When we got in, I found Becky's. She is a wonderful lady who gave me an excellent haircut at a great price. So glad to see she is still there!

As a Black guy wasn’t sure she’d be able to work with my hair, but got a simple and good looking high and tight that looks absolutely fine. Most importantly she is willing to work with you totally to give you the hair that you want, and she is a very sweet lady besides. Great value also as my haircut only cost 10$. Will absolutely be coming back in a month or so
