This was my first visit to this natural hair salon after a consultation with Jill. Having my hair washed.... great, conditioning treatment...great, hair style great. trim.... disappointing. I asked Jill how much she would need to trim my hair, she stated 1 inch, we agreed that I would take it light with the hair trim, but she took it upon herself to trim off several inches and I did not realize it until afterwards. I should of had her demonstrate with her finger how much she meant an inch would be and then see my hair during the duration of the cut. You live and you learn. I suggest making sure you are on the same page with her when she trims your hair.

I have been seeing Janay regularly for the better half of a year now and she has helped educate me on my texture and even did my wedding hair this past week and I received so many compliments!! My hair is so silky and smooth and even though I fight her on trims she always knows what’s best for my hair and my silk presses are some of the best I have had with NO relaxer ! Excited to work with her on my growth process She is also so sweet and nice and listens to me yap her ear off haha ?

I started my locs 4/23/22, so I thought I would wait until around my 1yr locaversary to leave a review. Initially, my consultation was with another young lady, but when I sat down, Jill said “I’m going to do it because there is just something about you”. After my install (micro/tiny locs), I am faithfully there every 6 weeks to 8 weeks for my reties, and thank all the Gods, that I never have to wait for my service. I am in and out. Never missed an appointment. Fast forward a year later. I have never been more confident with my hair in my entire life. Going to Jill was probably one of the best decisions I’ve made for my hair.
