John at Shade Sound and Security did incredible work on my 2008 Shelby GT500KR. From the very start, John was generous with his time as we dialed in the project details. He stayed engaged through drop-off, kept me updated during the install, and made pickup smooth and thorough. He’s meticulous and detail-driven, and it showed in every step of the work. John immediately recognized the condition of the Shelby and took extra care protecting everything throughout the process. Panels, trim, wiring, and fitment were all handled like it mattered. The install included a Kenwood eXcelon DMX908S, front and rear cameras, and a mirror-mounted radar detector setup with hardwire + remote mute (including Escort M2 integration). John is a master of his craft. He did a full sound system installation in my rare 1976 Porsche 912E. It’s tough to install modern systems in vintage cars and match the aesthetic. John did just that and more. I would highly recommend his work if you want excellent work done at a fair price.
I contacted John to tint my front windows and put a UV blocking film on my windshield as well to cool my interior, but mostly to block UV rays since I’m a repeat skin cancer consumer. My first few skin cancers all occurred on my left side that is right by the window and my dermatologist recommended years ago that I look into getting this done. He was extremely helpful, finished ahead of schedule, and the end result is fantastic. 100% perfect.
