This place is truly fantastic. My dog was shot by a neighbor, and we brought our dog here at 10:30 at night on a Saturday. I’m a fireman, so my wife was home alone with the kids and she had to navigate waking them up and driving them to the vet with the bleeding shot dog.
She and my dog were treated with kindness and compassion, and they extracted the bullet and saved my pup. I was certain it was going to be an outrageous bill. It was shockingly low and they did an amazing job on the dog. I’m so grateful to the staff here. Thank you for being there for my wife while I was on shift, and for helping my dog.
My cat’s tail got caught in a door and she lost the tip and they helped get her fixed up. We were there from 2-8 with a two hour break during surgery. I was impressed with the whole operation. I witnessed them handle a serious emergency with another pet and their family and was just impressed with their compassion and level of care. I highly recommend taking your pets here if they are in crisis. Thanks to the whole staff that worked today!!
I live about an hour and a half away with no other emergency vet besides Matthews. Went here not knowing what to expect but I’m glad I did. Cooper(my dog) was well taken care of and the vet/staff were friendly and explained everything. The pricing was really fair as well. I’ll definitely be coming back if I need after hours/weekend emergency care.
