I’m a Diabetic and I need to have a yearly eye checkup. I went to TVO in Lexington the 1st time, The next year I couldn’t get an appointment in Lexington but I could in Thomasville. Dr Totten was very professional and she took the time to tell me about some cataracts that she had seen and about the glaucoma she had seen and she explained it all to me . Dr Totten put me on eye drops for the glaucoma, and scheduled the surgery for my cataracts. I think so much of them that I have been trying to to schedule my wife an appointment but they were busy for the next. Y2 months
Knowledgeable and friendly staff and doctor. I would love to give more stars but the negative is they rarely answer the phone in the office when I call. I almost always get forwarded to a out of state/country answering service who relay my message. Hopefully they can remedy this.
I have been quite satisfied with my eye exams from TVO - Hwy 54 location, HOWEVER, I will no longer be ordering contact lenses or glasses from TVO. My son had an appointment for an eye exam on Dec. 15th. He needed new glasses and found frames he liked, so we placed the order and were told it would be approximately 3 weeks before they came in. I was fine with that as they should still have been back before he had to leave to go back to college. I called on Jan. 8th, after having received no updates and was told someone would call me with an update by EOB that day. Nobody ever called.
