I hadn't been satisfied with a barber since my longtime haircut lady retired over a year ago. Just couldn't find someone who could give me an acceptable cut. Until I stumbled across Rachel at Don's Barbershop in Sylva. She listened to me, asked several relevant questions, then gave me a really good haircut. All that, and she's a nice looking blonde with a pleasing personality. I've found my new barber and I am happy about it.
Small, local, mom and pop barber shop. Even before the coronavirus, Don's was very very clean. They are now CASH ONLY, so be aware of that before visiting. As of this post date of July 2022, $12 bucks for simple men's haircut.
Been going to Don's for a few years now. I always have a good experience, and they are inexpensive enough where I can leave a good tip and feel like I've gotten my money's worth, plus some.They did just CHANGE over to CASH ONLY.
