Stopped in to get my old eye glasses adjusted this morning. I am not a client but they were happy to help me, adjusted them free of charge. It took less than 5 minutes. Excellent service ?

First visit to this clinic. (My retina specialist in AVL retired.) Reception and medical staff were courteous and respectful. Wait time was only about 10 minutes. Was actually diagnosed today by the Retina Specialist Opthamologist with Vitelliform Macular Dystrophy, after 12 years of carrying a diagnosis of Adult Macular Degeneration. Was provided an explanation of this disorder, including expectations and printed literature. Would recommend, based upon today's experience.

I was there with a friend, waiting in the waiting room. My friend said the doctor was good. But, I was shocked by how rude the Optical guy was to multiple patients. He was short and talked down to everyone. In one case, an older patient got very aggravated with him and instead of calming the situation, the Optical guy escalated it with the result of the patient threatening him physical violence. I watched this happen from a close distance. While threats of violence have no place in this society, it should be noted that the staff is at fault also. Much better training and oversight is needed asap.
