Got a letter from the powers that be wanting to check my records and make sure I'm actually looking for a job and not living the life of Riley on almost $300/week. So they set my appointment at 8:30am and I get to bring a record of everything I've done for almost four months: who I've talked to, where I've been, email confirmations, what do I want to do when I grow up (FYI: dig tunnels), a picture ID, and so on... I check in, fill out a form and have a little heart to heart with one of the counselors who points out a couple of features on the website, scans all my paperwork, wishes me great success in my endeavors and off I go with a left-twix in my belly and one more...read full review

NC WORK CAREER CENTER is the most helpful place in preparing you for a job. They have computers and online sites free of charge to benefit your needs. They have fax, copying, and it's free to print documents. They also have helpful staff to commendate your needs.
