Following in the footsteps of a family lineage of artists and draughtsmen, Julian Charles brought his passion for fine-art photography to North Carolina in 2008, following several years of world travel pursuing the art. An outdoorsman and adventurer, Julian expresses his connection with the natural world with storytelling through his images and songwriting. Over several decades, his photography has made its way into many thousands of homes, workspaces and award winning magazines, throughout the country and overseas. “My workflow is as pure as I can make it. I believe in creating artwork using traditional methods and steer away from digital editing or manipulation. I want to see both truth and wonder in every picture." Julian
