It happened 2 weeks ago my AC were out Friday evening, It was really hot. Thermostat screen was even black. My wife called, technician came really fast, He fixed it, recharged with preon too. He recommnaded We need new HVAC system since 27 years old. He fixed it but it has leak so it could be in trouble in a few weeks or a few months. It wasn’t cheap but he saved us. I tried another very large AC repair service before I called Total Systems. The people working there seemed very nice, but their service was terrible...lost my phone number, tried to charge me more than advertised for a simple diagnostic, gave me a partial estimate for repairs because they did not have parts on hand or at their company ....but really drove up estimated costs to near $900 just for just parts alone. I called Sabrina at Total Systems, per a recommendation from a friend. Sabrina was great...looked up parts to make sure they were on hand, gave me a total cost of parts and installation of the two parts, and scheduled me for next day service. We were unlucky to be without heat prior to Thanksgiving as apparently many were. Everywhere we called was super booked out and the one person who did come out didn't get back to us on cost for the part. Total Systems came out and diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and had it installed within the week. Sadly, it was more than just the part that was wrong and due to the age of the unit we opted to just exchange it for a new one. Not a cost you want to have prior to the holidays but they were reasonably priced for the work that needed to be done and reliable. Thankful to have heat again and a new eco friendly unit.
