Good experience. I received a letter from the IRS! A clerical error had been made on my 2023 taxes and I owed back taxes, a substantial penalty and substantial interest. The back taxes owed were legitimately mine, however I felt that I should not have to bear the burden of the penalty and interest since the clerical error was made by The Tax Ladies. I went to their office in Shallotte and showed them my letter from the IRS. After about 10 minutes of verifying the information they wrote me a check for the full penalty and interest amount. Honestly, I was expecting some 'push back'. I was extremely pleased with the way the situation was handled and immediately resolved. I will continue going to The Tax Ladies to have my income taxes prepared.
