This is an exceptional place to take your pet. I had some issues that required immediate attention and I was taken in and my dog was treated with great care and precision. This is an excellent business and do not hesitate to use them.

We’ve always to our animals to Doc Matthews. This is the best vet in western NC. He listens to what you have to say and offers the best care for your animals. The environment is always welcoming, staff are friendly, and the price is very reasonable.

I cannot recommend Saluda Animal Hospital highly enough! We had a frightening emergency with our elderly dog, and while other veterinary offices in the area turned us away, Dr. Matthews and his team stepped up without hesitation. Dr. Matthews went above and beyond, showing incredible compassion and expertise in treating our beloved pet. His knowledge and genuine care made all the difference during a stressful time. The entire staff was professional, kind, and dedicated. If you’re looking for a veterinarian who truly cares, Saluda Animal Hospital is the place to go. Highly recommend!
