The office staff is friendly and personable. Dr. Sams is wonderful, listens to your concerns and keeps up with your specific medical history to make sure your vision is what it should be. The frame selection is huge and they work with your budget to make sure you get the glasses you like at the price you can afford. My entire family has been coming for years and we plan keep doing so.

I recommend this place, because Dr. Sams is a great eye doctor and the staff is friendly, the service that was provided to me today was smooth and no problems. Done a complete full eye exam and the equipment is very nice on that. This is my first eye exam ever. I’ll definitely be back again.

The staff was friendly, and I felt comfortable the entire time I was there. They were professional and kind. I never felt rushed, and all of my questions were answered. There was no wait time. I highly recommend Roxboro Family Vision! ?

Dr. Miriam Lavelle-Sams has been in practice at Roxboro Family Vision since 1987. She graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is well trained in both routine and complex eye exams from the very young to our elderly population. Dr. Lavelle-Sams tailors her eye exams to the patient’s specific needs. She can fit contact lenses for almost every type of prescription. Dr. Lavelle-Sams can manage Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration and Cataracts, red eyes and remove foreign bodies. She is the only Optometrist on Staff at Person Memorial Hospital for ocular emergency and is the only Optometrist in Person County with 24/7 emergency care.
