Frank Crenshaw is a liar and a fraud. Hired him for a spiral staircase and waterproofing upper deck. He frontloaded the payment schedule and worked just enough to get the majority of the payment and then left the project hanging and deserted me. Like other reviewers, it's been several months of delays, excuses, lies, unresponded emails/texts, and I'm still left with an unfinished and unsafe project. You will definitely regret hiring Evolutionary Decking. Do yourself a favor and choose someone else for your job!

We hired Frank Crenshaw/Evolutionary Decking in September of 2023 to build a screen porch for our daughter's wedding in April of 2024. What transpired over the next 6 months was a nightmare of delays, excuses, lies, and one unfinished project. This company has several pending lawsuits in Wake County over their business practices, so avoid at all costs.

Feb 2022

After receiving a recommendation from a neighbor, I asked for a quote to repair my deck. Similar to Justin’s experience, weeks and weeks passed after being told I would receive an estimate. I continued to be put off whever I asked for status updates on my quote. Ultimately, the estimates were never provided. Incredibly poor communication and absolutely no follow through.
