About Purcell Clinic in Rockingham
Purcell Clinic in Rockingham is a highly praised medical facility with a dedicated team of professionals. The receptionist is amazing, and the doctors are great, willing to listen to all concerns. The nurses have been wonderful, and the office is consistently clean. While it can be busy in the mornings for walk-ins, appointments have almost no wait time. Patients have expressed immense gratitude for the clinic's exceptional service, particularly for the expertise of Dr. Mabry, who quickly diagnosed and provided effective treatment for a child's issue. The staff and providers have consistently delivered excellent care to patients of all ages.
I hate to do this because I like the nurses and providers here but I’m searching for a new practice. They have some sort of staffing issue. Each time I come in the wait is almost 90 minutes. I have two littles and the delays are too disruptive to their schedules.
I came in at 3:20 today for a 3:30 appointment and left at 4:57. I don’t know how that’s even possible when they close at 4 so no new patients are arriving, and the staff seemingly outnumber patients 2:1.
This is the third time in a row this has happened. I was told the last two times that they were down a nurse.
I hope they figure it out because the nurses and providers have a great bedside manner.

The receptionist is amazing! All the doctors seem to be great. Most are willing to listen to all my concerns, which I have had many! The nurses have all been wonderful. Every time I go in, the office is clean. Can be very busy in the mornings for walk ins, but for appointments, I have almost no wait time when we are there.
If I could give more then 5 stars I would! Dr Mabry was AMAZING! He very quickly diagnosed my child's issue and was able to prescribe not only medication but also some at home steps I could take to alleviate the problem. He is incredibly wise and is an asset to this clinic. So thankful to have met him today.
