Patients appreciate the kindness of nurses, including Emily and student nurse Allyssa, who help them feel comfortable and at ease. The team in the cath lab, led by Dr. Ketha, provides excellent care and clear communication. Patients also commend Dr. Charles and his team for their professionalism and successful vascular surgeries, with positive post-op results. Visitors and patients sometimes experience challenges with navigation within the hospital, but staff members are always willing to assist and guide them. Overall, the facility offers compassionate, attentive, and expert care, creating a positive experience for both patients and visitors.
I was visiting a friend this weekend & had to enter through the Main Hospital entrance. I didn't know which way to go to access the Heart Center, so Jr. Volunteer took me to the correct area. We worked together on how to gain entrance to the patient wing of the heart center. I'm very greatful to the young woman that helped me on Saturday (5/9/26).
Except for spending too much time getting lost, I couldn't ask for more as the patient's wife. Most times someone walked; me to where I needed to go. When I was trying to leave I was given 3 different directions and went full circle a couple of times until someone walked me to where I needed to go. I can't tell you how grateful I was for that young man and for those many others who did the same before. This was just one unfortunate incident. The good news is, besides the young man? My watch showed that I walked 2.5 miles that day! It was a win!😘
The pre-op nurses (especially Emily and student nurse Allyssa) and Dr. Ketha and his staff in the cath lab were great. They were all very kind and caring, very knowledgeable. They put me at ease and kept me comfortable.
