Great listening doctor I'll admit to being the biggest pro. However, he put me on a med that sent me to the ER. Dr. Belcea told me on the phone after hours to just take more of the med for my side effects. What? The ER doctor said this particular med wasn't very good at treating what the hospital diagnosed me as having. ER doctor put me on the right track with meds. He also gave me a diagnosis without any testing for it saying when I wondered if I had such and such, "That could be" and wrote it on my chart which follows me to this day. That's when I lost faith in Dr. Belcea. He's got too many patients. Research might be a better calling.

Dr. Belcea is warm, seems caring, and he will listen intently for an hour. He will make you feel that you are cared for. But know this: I was prescribed 3 medications that carry a Black Box Warning. A Black Box warning is the strongest warning that the FDA issues on a medication. The first was a Floriquinonlone for several weeks for what he diagnosed as a simple UTI. I suffered horribly from that med. It caused excruciating pain. My feet swelled up like balloons. He said it was my thyroid. And the Floriquinolne destroyed my gut. He later told me he had learned his lesson and would not prescribe a Floriquinolone ever again. So I was a guinea pig. He then prescribed Diluadid...read full review

Dr Belcea spends a good enough time with me and genuinely cares about my health. He keeps himself open to my other holistic doctors' suggestions and include his own proven, preventive and holistic approach. I love him dearly and I am so honored to be one of his patients. He is the best doctor in the world for me!
