I have been going to Aveda salons for years. I just relocated to the Raleigh area and was in need to find a new salon and stylist which can be a daunting task. After doing some research, I made an appt with Von Kekel salon. I was matched with Sia. I was originally booked for a root touch up and blow out. When I sat in her chair I asked if there was a way she could throw a couple of highlights into my hair around the face. I was feeling dark. She went out of her way to accommodate me. She did a root touch up, partial, gloss and gave me a fab blowout. I’m thrilled that not only did my hair turned out great, I found a salon that I feel comfortable with.

I’ve been going to Von Kekel for many years now and a positive review is well overdue. When I walk in I’m always greeted by pleasant team members at the front desk who offer me a drink and let me know of the status of my stylist. They run appointments on a good schedule and I’ve never had to wait longer than a minute or two before I am taken to the back. I’m always pampered with a massage doubled as a hair cleaning service prior to my hair cuts where I can relax and enjoy the high quality products being used on my hair. I’ve known the owners of this Von Kekel salon for years — they are truly some of the sweetest people I know. The entire team is warm, welcoming, and professional. Victoria and Irene are my go-to hairstylists — they’re both incredibly talented and always make my hair look and feel amazing. I love that this is an Aveda salon that uses natural, plant-based products I can trust. It’s the only salon I’ll go to — I always leave feeling refreshed, pampered, and so happy with my hair!
