Last Thursday night at the Billy Strings show at Koka Booth, I had a cardiac arrest and died 4 times. I was so lucky to have sought out help right before from the amazing Cary firefighters and EMT staff from UNC Rex hospital. When I finally woke up the next day surrounded by my family and friends I couldn't believe what they were telling me. I just want to express my gratitude for these guys and girls going the extra mile to help me live. I particularly want to thank Tiffany Armstrong and Clayton Manzie , I remember them working on me and not giving up. I was in the hospital for a week and feel so so grateful to be home. The ICU nurses , Jeff, Edward,and Joe, all the nurses on the 4 West intermediate floor that were kind, attentive, and gave me the best of care, the supervisor of those nurses and the EMTs who both made a point to come and see me. I know I am missing a lot of you but please know I felt the concern, professionalism, and genuine kindness. I know there is no way to repay these heros but I at least want to publicly say thank you with all my heart. I will never forget you , thank you for being there when I needed you .
