I had an interventional procedure last week and I am very satisfied with my care. This was my first time being a patient at Rex. I can’t remember everyone’s names but Shay at registration was wonderful, my nurse Beth was kind and thorough. Dawn, Kaitlyn and Lucciana were wonderful too! Dr. Robinson and the IR team were all great! They all made me feel at ease. Everyone that walked by gave me a warm blanket. I know that they were all very busy but they still took the time to make sure I was warm and didn’t need anything. I highly recommend them!
Amazing care. I could not have been treated with more compassion, kindness, or patience. The nursing staff was outstanding and I can’t say enough about how kind and thoughtful each person was - from check in to discharge. I was anxious and scared and each interaction helped reassure me. I was never rushed with my questions even though I know they get the same ones a hundred times a day. Just outstanding overall.
Just here to offset the terrible review targeted at the wrong facility. An ER for a miscarriage is clearly not the radiology office.
My mother had a triple bypass at the Heart and Vascular Hospital. We have been interacting with radiology for follow up x-rays and they've been great. Very friendly and happy to answer any questions even though they're obviously busy and under stress.
Best advice I can give is to pick the right facility for your procedure. Additionally...yes, bring your insurance card. That's an America problem not a Rex Hospital problem.
