My dog Blue has always been very anxious outside, especially in crowded areas. It is difficult to train for confidence because he is often too scared to accept a treat.
We enrolled in Fearful Fido, and Christie helped Blue and the other dogs in the class move at their own pace. Blue has grown so much - we still have a lot of progress to make but we are both much more confident.
We’ve learned some new commands, how to redirect focus from anxiety-inducing distractions, and I’ve learned to better monitor his body language to stay under Blue’s fear threshold. Blue also loves Christie - I would definitely enroll in her classes again!
