I had sciatica affecting my right leg. It progressed over a number of months with my GP prescribing muscle relaxants, an MRI and ultimately referred me to a surgeon. Sitting was painful and driving was impossible at that point. The surgeon said that he couldn't fix me but could reduce the pain while my body healed itself (in about a year!). I opted instead to try Raleigh Chiropractic and Wellness instead and within weeks was driving again. Full recovery still took the better part of a year, but getting to the point where I was pain free during normal daily activities took only a few months.
