I've tried two other pole studios in NC besides this one--this one is by far the best. It's a bit more expensive but so worth it! They give everyone their own pole in class, so you don't have to share, and the instructors are charismatic and good teachers. They actually carefully check everyone's form, and they drill you to make sure you remember the moves, and will even 'quiz' you. Just finished a Xpert teacher training hosted by Pole Play and I want to say that all of the studio's dancers were so extremely kind to me and went above and beyond to help me when I needed it. The vibe of the studio is incredible as well as professional. And I even got to leave with some custom made outfits by the owner. Can't wait to wear! I will definitely be back. Thank you!
I’ve been going to PPF for almost 6 months. I found it a little challenging at first, as someone with no pole or dance experience (or coordination in general!), but now it’s one of the things I look forward to most during the week. For most classes without heels (besides the strength and flexibility classes), having a basic foundation in pole and climbing skills really helps you feel confident and keep up, so starting in Progressive 1 is ideal. I’d also recommend grabbing a pair of heels early, because it opens up more classes that help you get more comfortable on the pole.
