I can’t tell you enough how amazing everyone here is. After losing approximately 200 lbs the old pictures hanging around are the least of your problems. You’re never fully prepared for the health issues that arise due to skin left once the weight is gone. The first Doctor I spoke with said he couldn’t guarantee he’d be able to keep my belly button. After a lot of tears, I called North Raleigh Plastic Surgery. When I met with Dr. Ortiz and Lauren my hope started returning. I had a breast reduction and Dr. Jones was my doctor. Her and Ruby walked me through each step. Mine was covered by insurance and it did not take long at all to get scheduled. Keep in mind if you use insurance there could be different things needed that could take longer but nothing to extreme. This was my first surgery ever so I was so nervous & I had no clue what to expect. Mine was completed at Blue Ridge. When I say from Dr. Jones to the staff everybody treated me like I was family. I felt in such good care! Dr. Jones called me the next day to check on me & has been walking me through recovery. I felt like Dr. Jones was my mom and Ruby was my aunt.
