I've always found Dr. Van Pala and his son very affable, professional and helpful. I've been a patient with the practice since 2016. I generally go for physicals once to twice per year.

Dr. Sutherland-Phillips and Dr. Phillips are both competent in their respective areas of medicine. They try to incorporate eastern/holistic care into the standard western medicine model. Dr. Sutherland-Phillips has been more responsive and thorough compared to a specialist I saw in the past. I've seen her almost exclusively for the 3 or 4 years (without seeing specialists) because she is capable of managing most of my conditions. I am able to schedule appointments at short notice. They have become almost family. I recommend this practice.

I met Dr. Van Pala while looking to potentially rent his old clinic. During the tour of his space, Dr. Van Pala pulled me aside and asked about some brief questions about morphological symptoms. He suggested that I have my testosterone checked. I didn't, because what did he know, right? None of my PCPs had ever even thought to check my testosterone levels, and they spent a lot of time with me and had my labs and stuff.
