Do not submit application and fees for Establishment License for Massage Therapy until you get a response back from board. --Find out first if you need the Establishment License. Fees will NOT be refunded. All Massage Therapy Establishments (excluding Sole Practictioners) are required to have License by January 2022. It's a lengthy process so don't drag you feet.
Miss Kirk has been so helpful with my concerns and questions regarding transferring my license. Not once was there ever a negative tone detected. Thank you so much, and I look forward to continuing massage journey in North Carolina!
While navigating the Massage Therapy schooling and licensing process, the North Carolina Board of Massage and Body Work Therapy (NCBMBT) has been amazing. They have always answered my questions and never hesitated to help me when needed. I have been to their office in Raleigh twice, and they always greeted me with the utmost professionalism and kindness. I have called their office so many times and they have never given me anything less than the best possible service. They are always quick to return emails and phone calls! They really have made this process a lot easier for me!!
