We found Leaf & Limb while searching for someone knowledgeable about trees in general and specifically to determine if the roots of our bald cypress are impacting our foundation. Enter Leaf & Limb. Matt Fraley came out to assess our situation and we were amazed at his level of knowledge and the overall approach he and the company takes when it comes to finding the balance between tree and the environment in which it is living. They have several ISA certified arborists on staff and it was clear they know what they’re doing. In the end, we contracted with Leaf & Limb to do some root care, root analysis at the foundation, nutrition application, and limb pruning for the bald cypress, and trimming of our crepe myrtles (no crepe murder!) as well as our abelias. We were blown away that they climbed the trees and used hand saws to cut the larger limbs. When done, they fired up the chipper-shredder to chop up what was pruned from the cypress then used those chips as mulch around the bottom of the cypress where they did root care. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. 5+ stars for Leaf & Limb!
the crew was extremely knowledgeable about trees and treated my 100 foot tall water oak with great respect. The pruning provided a healthier structure that will serve my favorite tree quite well. These guys are careful in their methods in terms of their own safety as well as the health of the tree. I am very happy with the service. Edit to add: that non native nandina with the pretty red berries has been replaced with a native winterberry.
