Labcorp at Walgreens

I came on a Thursday at 1PM as a walk-in for bloodwork and I was in and out very quickly. The labcorp is inside Walgreens. You check-in at the electronic kiosk, and the waiting area is amid the aisles. There were 6 other people ahead of me that I skipped, but I think they probably had to do other tests and not bloodwork. So, there may be a longer wait if you need to do other things. There were two employees in the back room, so I think one does bloodwork, while the other employee handles other diagnostic tests. I understand labcorp wants to get the most volume they can, and poorly executes this by allowing walk ups when there’s a full schedule of appointments. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. So, this review is not for the company. This review is for Veda, who I’ve had the pleasure of working with on several occasions. She is wonderful. She is kind and patient and thorough. She is pleasant in the face of the long lines and angry people. She works alone most of the time…so she gets huge props from me and I look forward to seeing her on my next visit.

Mrs. Vee, Tammy and the labcorp staff were a great help when obtains my labs. Knowledgeable, diligent, communicated well and answered every inquiry I had. Very helpful and professional personnel, saved on Google maps favorites for any labs I may need in the future.
