Dr Clark and the team at Blue Pearl were exceptionally kind and responsive to my senior dog yesterday. Dr Clark took considerable time clearly explaining tests and options. They are open 24 hours so can handle all emergencies.
My dog Shylo collapsed outside on our yard. Got up and continued to show signs of weakness. This happened on a weekend so I called Pearl Hospital.Brought him in they gave Shylo a complete blood profile and other tests. Was diagnosed with bloat which is fatal if surgery is not performed . Brought in a surgery team specialized in bloat surgery. This was 9pm at night. Bloat is fatal if not taken care of asap. Surgery was successful! Shylo is now in day 5 of his 10-14 day recovery period. Doing very well. Stitches to be take out in 9 days. Our dog had a seizure in the early hours. We rushed him to BluePearl very worried, and were greeted with a staff that was immediately in tune with our dogs needs, and ours. Kindness, efficiency, clarity, and humanity was abundant in this office.
We met the treating vet towards the end, and she talked with us with attention and concern. She listened more than she spoke, looking to understand as much as she could about our dog.
In short, I’m not going anywhere else for urgent pet needs. They are an excellent team and I’d recommend them to anyone.
