First time with this place, not sure what to think. I wanted to schedule an appointment (like we've always done for 26 yrs), but she was adamant about dropping off and leaving our tax forms with her. Saying it would take her a couple of hours to review our forms, and she would call with any questions. She didn't seem very confident, and called the next day with many questions, seeming quite confused. We don't have a complicated return, just basic family/work deductions, and I mean basic. She called when she was done and we went in. Since she didn't want to complete the return in front of us, we can only hope it's right. We were charged $300 - she claimed the computer told her what to charge based on the number of forms. (???!) She also did our (deployed) son's return - 1040EZ simple no deductions - only his w2 - and she charged him $250! Our jaws dropped and she changed his super simple return to $200! Still outrageous highway robbery!! Now we can only wait and see. And hope and pray we don't get audited. If you have a simple to moderate return - I suggest turbo tax.
