“I saw Dr. Byron for most of my pregnancy and he was great! When I went into labor the midwife Lauren Carriker, who I had only seen once before, was who I was assigned. If I could go back and tell myself anything it would be to ask for literally any other provider. The pitocin increase was so rapidly my contractions went from being minimal to extremely painful, Lauren offered no sound advice on how to proceed. She had me actively pushing for 6 hours with NO progress before she decided to finally ask Dr. Richberg to come evaluate me. I was internally starting to panic a little bit the minute Dr. Richberg came in the room I felt so much better and knew I was finally in good hands. He explained my pelvis was too narrow and a c-section was the only option (please tell me WHY Lauren couldn't realize this hours sooner). Dr. Richberg took over from there and did my surgery and postpartum care and I could not have been happier! He is such an amazing doctor who really listens and cares! Wish I had seen him my entire pregnancy!“
