“If you are looking for someone who is thorough and honest, Joel is the person to go to. He is careful and precise and full of integrity. We go to Joel every year and highly respect him and the work he does.“

“We were new to the area and used Scott Cornelius for our taxes. When we first met with him he took his time and answered all our questions. Our taxes were done in a timely manner and they were so easy to work with.

However, we received a notice from the IRS for a previous year. Scott Cornelius had nothing to do with the original filing. It was during 2020 and we used an online filing company. And there were mistakes. We tried handling it with the IRS ourselves but it became a rabbit hole and we ended up owing money and penalties.

Scott recommended his associate Walter Wallace. He became an our advocate and champion! It took a while, through no fault of Walt’s. The IRS does not move quickly! But long story short, after years of trying to straighten this out ourselves, in less than a year Walt was able to straighten out the mess and we ended up getting a refund.
