“For the skeptical out there, I was one of you. For years and years I brushed aside my wife's suggestion to try acupuncture for chronic pain in my shoulders and knees (old injuries). Slowly destroying my liver with Advil and Tylenol wasn't for me (and they didn't really help that much anyway). Finally caved and visited Stillpoint. Have seen 2-3 different practitioners there and the results have been wonderful. Am I cured? No, but I can walk normally with near-zero pain, and I can sleep normally without my shoulders waking me every hour. I don't know how acupuncture works and, frankly, I don't care. It has been almost a year since my last shoulder treatment and I am still doing fine. When the shoulders or knees act up, I schedule a treatment or two. PRO TIP FOR NEWBIES: Schedule at least 4-5 visits to experience lasting results. Acupuncture isn't a panacea; it's a treatment regimen and a worthy alternative to gorging on pain meds.“
