Newton Vision Center, Maiden Eye Clinic, and Mountain View Eye Center offer quality eye care for the whole family. The staff is friendly, creating a warm and inviting environment. The facility is clean and smells pleasant, with a separate area for glasses to prevent overcrowding. Patients have reported the most accurate prescriptions they've ever had, particularly for contact lenses. Dr. Matthew Davis is praised for his knowledge, pleasantry, and thoroughness in eye exams. Notably, the team has shown understanding and patience in working with an autistic teenager, who felt comfortable and enjoyed his experience. The center is efficient and helpful, assisting with rebates and providing useful coupons. Overall, it is a highly recommended eye care provider for the excellent service and care they provide.

This is absolutely the best office you'll ever find. We moved away to Wilmington and had a bad experience at an eye doctor down there with my daughter. We just recently moved back to Hickory and the level of care we received at Newton Vision Center (Newton office) was so incredibly overwhelming, I had to pull the office manager to the side to brag on everyone there. I called the day before and asked if we could move my son's appt to the same time as mine and my daughter's. They found him an open slot with the new doctor there. When we arrived at our appt, it could've been overwhelming to the staff because there were 3 of us having appts. at the same time (myself, my daughter and my son). The front office handled getting all of us signed in and updating insurance and paperwork so easily and swiftly. We were called back to begin the vision tests. This is where I was most anxious because I knew with 3 of us, this could be a little crazy. Three techs jumped right in and each one took each of us and rotated through the stations like clockwork. They didn't skip a beat, and all of us were checked in and had the vision tests completed before the time of our scheduled appt. started. My daughter and I saw the same doctor and as soon as our appt with her ended, my son's just started with the new doctor and we were able to go in with him. Both doctors were amazing and very thorough. They were able to get accurate readings on both kids. We were directed to the glasses department to get myself some new lenses. I had a question about my insurance and what it covered. The lady in the glasses department got someone to come and explain my insurance coverage to me and they were so nice about it. At checkout, they went over the charges with me and printed out detailed information as well as my prescription. EVERY SINGLE PERSON was so extremely helpful and nice. From the initial phone call, to check-in, the techs, doctors, eyeglass center, insurance, and check-out. I was completely amazed and so very thankful to have moved back home and to be able to get great eye care again. This place actually cares about people and that's hard to find now days.
