Don't go unless you have no plans at all that day. I got there at 11:30 am and didn't leave until 8pm. I asked for large box braids, she did two rows the size I requested then dropped down to medium size. She has two phones and has to talk on both of them continuously the whole appointment, sometimes at the same time. Then she doesn't braid the hair all the way down but will go back over them dragging out the appointment. Oh and that $20 deposit you pay is just for the appointment, you still have to pay your full balance on top of the $20. The work overall is ok, but not worth the time or money!
Wasted time is worse than wasted money. I got a call less than 10 minutes of my appointment time saying she was just leaving Charlotte. I live 35‐40 minutes from Newton. After over an hour of waiting, I called to see if she was even still coming to do my hair and was told she was "halfway" from Charlotte. I waited another 30 minutes and she still hadn't shown up so I left. She had me to pay a deposit via cashapp for the appointment the day before when I made it. I left to go home because WHO WAITS OVER 2 HOURS PAST THEIR APPOINTMENT TIME ANYWHERE! She called me at 3:05 and asked me was I coming? I asked for my deposit back as I was not coming back.
