We could not be happier with the beautiful custom bed that Emitt Witt of Core Creek Custom Woodworking created for us. The craftsmanship is absolutely outstanding. Emitt designed and built a stunning wormy maple and walnut bed that perfectly accommodates our adjustable bed frame while still looking like a true piece of fine furniture.
The attention to detail, quality of materials, and precision in the woodworking are remarkable. The contrast between the wormy maple and walnut is gorgeous, and you can tell immediately that this piece was made by someone who takes tremendous pride in their work.
I called Core Creek Custom Design to help me build a butler style cabinet that would incorporate 4 100 year old leaded glass windows. Emitt Witt answered my call the same day I left the message and was happy to come over, see my ideas, and come up with a plan. He respected my thoughts and improved the project with innovative lighting (the lights are integrated on the underside of the shelves and move with the shelf as you reposition it) and masterful carpentry. He arranged artisans to repair the vintage windows. Even when things got tense installing this beast (92x112 inches) Emitt was cool and confident.
