I had heard mixed reviews about prices and up selling attempts before making an appointment. That didn't happen.
Before our appointment, the office called our previous vet and got the records sent over.
When we arrived (very clean facility) we were taken back within 10 minutes of our appointment time.
I explained what we were visiting for and what we needed. The provider and tech were incredibly kind and gentle to my little buddy and we left with our bill under 300 dollars (office visit, blood work, medication). I think that is a very understandable price for what we received and, honestly, peace of mind knowing your little friend is healthy is always priceless.

We had a vet emergency on a Saturday and they not only got us seen quickly but with extreme compassion, a thorough examination and explanation that we understood and could make a decision during a very stressful time. We will definitely be using them for our regular vet care.
I called The Pet Hospital of New Bern on 1/15 after noticing my almost 11 year old cat breathing through his mouth following a coughing fit. I was really, really hoping it was just an upper respiratory infection, or maybe AT WORST asthma. After the exam, X-rays, and lab work, I was given the worst news of my entire life. My best friend in the whole wide world had cancer. My entire world went dark in that moment.
