The BarBeer Shop is a great traditional barbershop located in the old post office atrium in downtown New Bern. It is a clean and well-appointed shop run by a knowledgeable and friendly barber who is very good at his craft. The atmosphere is personable with great conversation. The barber provides a top notch haircut, gives outstanding fades, and takes time to ensure the style is exactly what is wanted. The experience is of the highest quality. Appointments are very easy to make, allowing clients to get in and out. A complementary beer is offered, with donations going to a great cause. The pricing is very reasonable. This is the absolute best barber shop in New Bern and as good as it gets. You can't go wrong and will not be disappointed.
I'd give Tom and his shop 6 stars if I could! Besides the quality of the experience, the pricing was very reasonable

The absolute best barber shop in New Bern! Very easy to make an appointment and get in and out. Tom gives a top notch haircut and conversation is always great over a cold beer. Perfect location downtown as well. Don't hesitate to give Tom a try if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed.
First time coming in to get my son a haircut. Tom greeted us ever so politely, made jokes with me and my son and gave him an outstanding fade. I was so amazed how quick he was and with ease. Little man can’t get over how good it looks, and neither can I! I will recommend him to anyone and will definitely be back! Thanks again, Tom💪🏻
