My mother in law, sister in law and nieces went for braids. Wish I could remember the 2 ladies names who did our hair, we loved them!! they were awesome! (Pretty sure one was the owner). Braids were very neatly done and tight enough to stay in without pulling. Blowing sand on the beach was hard to wash out so sadly I had to take them out the morning of day 3. Washing my hair without messing up the braids was easy, getting the sand that was trapped underneath was a task!. If you love having your hair braided, THIS is the place!
Took my 2 daughters and their friend! They all got hair wraps. My younger one got an air brush tattoo and the older ones got henna! Everyone so was nice and explained eveything! Will definitely be back!
We love going to Life on a Sandbar. My 3 girls got hair wraps and they're beautiful. The staff is friendly. This shop offers a unique OBX experience. They also do henna tattoos and sand art plus sell sun activated shirts and nail polishes.
