Beacon Property Inspections is a full-service inspection firm that has been serving Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Moyock, Elizabeth City, Hampton, and Newport News for over 20 years. They offer a range of services including residential and commercial property inspections, mold testing, lead paint testing, sewer scans, asbestos testing, water testing, infrared scanning, pool inspections, maintenance inspections, and new construction inspections.
Their inspectors are known for being professional, friendly, and accommodating of clients' schedules and needs. They take the time to answer questions and are highly knowledgeable in their field. One client, Vikki Barnes, mentioned that inspector Trevor was always on time, knowledgeable, and helpful. However, she noted that the inspectors do not bring a report on a laptop at the end of the inspection to go over with the client.
Despite this minor inconvenience, Beacon Property Inspections receives high praise for their reasonable rates and quality of service. One client has been using John, another inspector, as their primary home inspector for many years and highly recommends him to any real estate agent looking for a good quality inspector.
I am greatly appreciated at what you all did for me. There was a lot of issues with the house that I was not prepared to tackle. The images that were taken told me the whole story of what kinda shape the house is in in great detail. Thank you for your time and help. It is greatly appreciated.
My family and I have used John and his team for many years. Top notch inspections, thorough and knowledgeable! This is the company you want when purchasing your new home! Inspection reports are clear and concise. Thanks again John for your most recent inspection for me. Always good to see you!
Trevor was incredibly thorough and detailed with both inspections we’ve had done with him, and saved us thousands with issues he noticed in the first house we were under contract for. He communicated and explained everything very directly and clearly. Would enthusiastically recommend 11/10 times.
