Our heat went out and we called them fearing the worst. They came out the next morning and found that one small part had overheated. The tech replaced the part and the unit came on and ran beautifully. Highly recommend Herring!
My heat went out about 845pm Tuesday and of course having 2 kids I panicked. I called the company whom installed the system and it would be a few days because of the Thanksgiving they were busy. I found a 800 number that advertised 24/7 service. Thank God!! The answering service told me someone would call within 20 minutes. 40 mins passed so I called back and she said she’d send another alert for the tech to call. Another 20 min had passed and as I was hanging up from calling again a tech finally called. While on the phone with him and guy called but I thanked him and told him I had another tech on the other line. WHY DID I DO THAT?!?!! This tech kept trying to deter me from him coming to my house. He kept stressing the fact about the money I'd pay and even if he didn't fix it I'd still have to pay. Why wouldn't you fix it? Why are you trying not to come out? I hung on him because I got tired of the excuses. Called the other number back and little did I now it was the CEO of the company. I explained to him what happened and he drove an hour (at 10pm) with minimal tools to temporarily fix my heat and ensure someone with a acutal truck with supplies was at my house bright and early that Wednesday morning. A completely different tech (Aaron) of course and my heat is blowing fine. I can't thank Mr. Kevin enough for ensuring my kids and I were warm.
I can not recommend Skip and his team with Herring Heating and Air more. Very nice and easy to get on the phone! My problem was inspected and fixed in the same week even with the short notice. I asked if there was any way they could have it fixed before a birthday party and they more than accomplished that. Have answered questions about my system for me since and checked to make sure the birthday party went good! ❤️ I will absolutely use them in the future and if anyone needs a good AC service team these are the people to call!
