The problem turned out to be a misaligned outdoor faucet, and the plumber quickly rectified it by realigning and securing the fixture in place, wrapping up in just under an hour. Notably, he took the time to explain how I might prevent similar issues in the future.
I'm leaving a review because I learned a lot by getting a second opinion, and this plumber's thorough approach led to a much better experience; for the initial job, it took most of the afternoon with some minor leaks afterward, but this time they finished in just over an hour without any issues. The new toilet was installed flawlessly, and he explained each step as he worked.
The plumber worked on the faucet for about an hour, which felt appropriate given the need to disassemble and replace a faulty cartridge. He was thorough and tested everything twice before leaving, ensuring there were no further leaks.
