Their price was very reasonable, and the cheapest of the three quotes I received and were able to fit my job in the same week I called. They were safe, professional, and fast. Most times were stressful and lots of torn up property and cleanup.Then I contracted with Carl Halas Tree Arborist. I always heard of the term “tree surgeon” but never knew what it really meant. Now I know. Carl and his very competent crew removed 8 trees for me with great precision. Two were over 50’ tall and were close to the house and hard to access. Every branch was removed, lowered carefully and safely, not just cut and dropped. All trees were shredded or hauled away. Stumps were ground out and entire yard was cleaned up like he had never been here.As an “arborist” Carl was very helpful with his knowledge of trees. Price was fair and well worth it. His resume is very impressive.The crew was very respectful, cleaned up every day (4 1/2 days) and removed equipment every day. “Initially contacted Hartsell tree service for an estimate and Tom Hartsell came out to do the estimate. We set an appointment 4 days from my initial call and Tom showed up exactly on time which I was very impressed with. He gave me an estimate to trim four trees and remove two trees in my backyard.
