Our realtor, Matt Stevens, was awesome. We moved to Charlotte from out of state and knew virtually nothing about the area. Matt set up several conference calls to educate us about the city and ensure he understood what we were looking for. He sent us tons of listings that met our criteria for weeks prior to our arrival and then spent an entire weekend showing us homes. We greatly appreciated his easy-going manner and objective view, reminding us of our wish list and the pros and cons of each listing. Once we had decided on a newly constructed home, Matt was an exceptional negotiator with the builder, ultimately getting us under list price with multiple concessions. We had multiple problems with lending and building administration leading up to closing but Matt did a fantastic job solving problems and keeping everyone on task. Going above and beyond what is required, he continued to work on our behalf after closing, arranging for access to the home by contractors and other professionals until we moved in a month later. I highly recommend Matt to anyone buying or selling a home in Charlotte and look forward to working with him again in the future!
Besides being a nice guy and great to work with, Matt got me a listing right as it came out, we were the first to see it and he made sure we had the first offer in. After that he battled with the sellers to accept the quick offer and close the deal. He then went overboard covering all the details making sure the sale went through and kept me informed at every step. Afterwards he spent a lot of personal time finding an electrician for me. At every step he was tops and I will use him again.
Matt is the best! We lived out of state and he was providing us with listings before we even got to the Charlotte area. When we ran into difficulties Matt was so upbeat, positive, and determined. I highly recommend him!
